Choose Maccy if…
- You want the smallest possible tool: a list, a search box, nothing else.
- Open source matters to you.
- You mostly copy text and rarely need images or screenshots.
Choose PasteBee if…
- You like to see what you copied: images, colors, links and code show as previews on cards.
- You take screenshots all day and want them in your history, searchable by the words in them.
- You reuse snippets and want them organized on pinboards.
- You fill forms or move data in batches. Paste Stack pastes several items back in order with ⌘V.

No. Maccy uses ⇧⌘C by default. PasteBee uses ⌘⇧V for the panel and ⌘⇧C for Paste Stack, so if you try both, change one of them.
